Ford Mustang
The Ford Mustang was launched to the public in April 1964. Back then Ford had a huge hit as their Mustang caused a craze in the car world. Ever since then Ford has continued to build on their Mustang line.
Recently Ford has gone back to what fans of the popular sports car have wanted. Instead of building on a new car design for the Mustang Ford has introduced a more classic and retro look to their brand. Most of us felt endlessly teased seeing the sleak new design at car shows. Doing so has met more success in sales for their popular car.
The Mustang comes in either a coupe or a convertible body style. Both versions feature their standard V-6 engine or V-8 GT. If you live in a warmer climate and really are into enjoying life we recommend going for the convertible.
And under the hood is the same power we come to expect from the Mustang. They’re V-6 model carries a 4.0 L engine. And the V-8 GT has a little bit more kick with the 4.6 L engine. The GT Mustang with its eight cylinder engine has a max horsepower RPM of 5750. The EPA mileage estimate for the GT is in the range of 17 to 25 miles per gallon of gas.
The standard Mustang V-6 engine has a maximum horsepower RPM of 5250. The 16 gallon fuel tank burns fuel at a rate of 19 to 28 miles per gallon.
If you’re interested in a little bit more kick with their Mustang and don’t mind the extra expense we recommend going with the GT. However if you are watching your wallet you may want to stick with their standard V-6 line.
The engine on the Ford Mustang still has that grizzly sound that we come to enjoy. The driving experience with the Mustang remains the entertaining and fun drive we’ve been accustomed to get from Ford.
